As write this, my cock is filling the chamber of Pipedream’s Pump Worx Silicone Power Pump. While I don’t pump often, I do really love doing it, and sitting down to write the review seemed like a perfect time.
This pump is pretty damn nice. It’s built well and looks cooler than your average clear chamber with black accents. My review unit came in a very Gameboy Color shade of translucent blue. It may not be for everyone, but I like it a lot.
Overall, the build quality is about what you’d expect. The materials could be a little heftier, but if I take care of it I feel like it’ll last a while. The ABS plastic chamber feels stronger than other Pipedream pumps I’ve tried.
Unlike a lot of pumps in this price range, it’s controlled via hand pump. That feature was what made the HydroMax X30 Xtreme so cool to me, and I’m just as big of a fan of it here. Hand pumps give you a level of control that feels less like you’re sticking your cock into a piece of auto machinery. Also, the price for that Hydromax pump is about $300 whereas Pipedream is only charging $20-$30.
The pumping chamber is made of hard plastic and lined with a studded silicone insert. I feel like the insert is part of what makes the suction so great. It’s also part of what makes the pumping feel extra throbby and hot.
With a little lube the pump has an unbelievably tight seal, which gave my cock an even amount of pressure from base to tip. Most pumps in this price range can barely hold a vacuum, but this worked, even with my pubic hair. It feels really comfortable, even when you wear it for a long time. So far, I have used it in a handful of sessions for about 7 hours total and have yet to reach an uncomfortable point.
