I think most everyone’s first sex toy (at least for me) is usually a dildo. And in the advances in technology just a plain Jane dildo doesn’t seem so exciting, but that’s bullshit. Regardless finding one that doesn’t come with all the bells and whistles seems hard to me. My first one I ended up getting one made of jelly. Bad move on my part. It wasn’t until after I ordered that that I read that those can be dangerous. Thus I became terrified with it and wouldn’t use it without a condom. That being said the reason I got it was because it was small and softish. All the other ones calmed to be made of rubber or plastic and as hard as a rock. Not to mention thick as a brick. All well in good, but I was still new to sex and just wanted something to loosen me up before the actual sex. Well, now I’m older and wiser.
At first glance the Charmer's package doesn’t look like much. It’s a clear plastic with red trimming and font as well as white. This shows off the product in all it’s glory. There wasn’t anything that surprised me and made picking the charmer easier. I could see size, girth, and it’s interesting ridges. Also it’s pretty color.
The product, that the box clearly states is “100% ULTRA-PREMIUM PLATNUM SILICONE,” is silky and flexible, but it’s core feels hard enough that it’s similar to the feel of a real dick. So material wise this baby is good. What scared me when I first started looking for dildos was that they were hard rubber or plastic, which being a newbie creeped me out. Silicone is also safe to use and according to the box you can clean this sucker anyway you want. Bleach, boil it and so on. It’s four ridges slip into the pussy very nicely and feel great coming out. They’re shallow enough not to yank at your parts, but deep enough to give a nice little tug. Defiantly a great feature.
What I like most about the Charmer is that it’s not trying to win me over with batteries or weird little extensions. It presents itself as it is. I look at and see that it’s long, thin, has ridges and is an interesting color (which is the flashest part about it,) and it had a flat bottom. At first I thought it was a handle or a way to stand it up but I’ve told it’s so it can be attached to a strap on. Which I’m sure would be awesome, but for me it was a handle. It feels soft and firm and when I was studying it for the first time I could feel with my hands that it wasn’t going to do any chafing, and it didn’t. However, I did try it with lube and had an artist reaction. The clear lube I had just made the shimmer glitter material sparkle even more and it was just so pretty.

Going off how I feel about the product I think for same sex couple this would work great, especially with the strap if you have it. And It’s thin enough that I think anal would be just dandy with it if your beginning.
The only thing that I found I disliked was the flat bottom. I know it has a purpose, but I don’t plan on going that way. I just want it as a dildo. That being said I think its great that you can switch them out if you have the strap, very cool. But for me I don’t want a strap on, I’ll just use my hands and someone else’s. So it got in the way a bit, but not enough for me to say “nah, I hate this.” Just enough for me to stare at it judgingly and say “You were so close to perfect, but I still love you.”
All in all the Charmer is classy and announces what it is right off the bat. It’s very straight forward and I love that about it. And even though it is it still has surprises. It feels wonderful with its ridges and gets in deep to that little spot way in the back.
