Having sex with a lot of partners means a lot of risk.

Having sex with a lot of partners means a lot of risk.

In the past month or so, I’ve had sex with around fourteen different guys, mostly one-night-stands. Today, I found out I was pregnant. I’m going to keep the baby, but I’m really worried about what people will say when they find out. I’m going to have to find out who the father is, but how do I keep it from getting spread around campus. I don’t want to be the girl that people stare at and whisper about.

Looks to me like you’ve put yourself into a bit of a conundrum. So let me be honest here, you had sex with fourteen guys and you’re going to have to inform them all if you want them to get paternity tests.  It is really hard to keep a secret with two people let alone 14. The fact that you even wrote to me opens the door for scrutiny.

The best thing you can do now is minimize the damage. Contact all the boys and tell them what’s going on, but ask that they keep is quiet. From there you can only hope that in their panic they don’t go talking about it to their friends.

I wouldn’t suggest it but if you are that concerned about keeping it quiet you could wait until you’re far enough along  to establish paternity before you tell anyone. This would minimize the amount of time your potential baby daddies have to spread it around. But your bigger belly will make for one hell of a shock and could backfire.

Whatever you do, make sure you’re taking every precaution to make sure your baby is healthy. Go see a doctor to get a checkup, get on your prenatals and all that good stuff. I wish you the best of luck.

Keep it sexy,

Jerome
