Overall, the design of The Prowler is pleasant. It’s simple and clean. The chrome accents aren’t gaudy. The handle is ergonomically molded. I would actually say that the design is really good.
I also really enjoy the color options, black and red. Both colors look really good with the design of the toy. Black is very sleek and sophisticated. The red color, which is the one I got, looks as bright and luscious as a fresh strawberry.
Although, it’s made out of hard plastic and not a premium material like silicone, The Prowler avoids feeling cheap. It’s well built and feels sturdy in the hand. It even lasted through a bit of rough use, including several drops.
The vibe is kind of heavy, which I rather enjoyed. It gave me the sense that I was holding something substantial. Although it’s heavy the weight is almost completely shifted into the instertable portion of the vibe.
One other great thing about The Prowler is that it’s waterproof. This means that you can get into all types of fun things in the shower or bath without worrying.
Having bestowed all that praise on the device, you may expect that the price is going to be a bit expensive. But you’ll be happy to know that this device cost only a mere $18.99.
My biggest gripe with all the previous vibrators I’ve tried is that they’re too weak. I couldn’t say that about The Prowler if I tried. It brings deep, penetrating, teeth chattering vibrations that really get the job done.
For those who want something a bit less earth shattering, The Prowler has 3 adjustable settings that should please just about everyone. The dial at the far end of the handle controls the speed is not as smooth as the rest of the vibe, which makes it very easy to change the speed when your hands are covered in lube.
When I first took The Prowler from it’s rather pedestrian packaging, I was worried that the prowler might be too big. It measures about 1.5 inches in diameter, which is a bit wide. But after a few minutes and a lot lube, I was well enjoying myself. That’s partially due to its super slick hard plastic construction.
Although this vibe is made for men and uses the brand name of a gay porn company, I think a woman could get enjoyment from this toy as well. The power reminds me of a Hitatchi Magic Wand, which is the gold standard for intense vibrators. Also, since it’s insertable, a woman could use it internally and externally without any issue.
