I think we can all agree that soft, supple, kissable lips are sexy. A kiss anywhere especially on the inner thigh, labia, head of the penis or nape of the neck can send shivers down your spine. Can remember the first time you let someone really explore every inch of your body with their lips? Can you remember the soft anticipation and electric buzz as you gave up control and let yourself enjoy the moment? Can you remember that moment when you felt the burn? This is such small thing, but if you forget, it could mean an abrupt end to an otherwise pleasant evening. This could happen with other products like Bengay, Icy Hot, and warming lubes and condoms. All of these products have a warming/tingling effect that can be too intense for sensitive skin areas, ie labia, penis, anus, lips, etc. Personally, I don’t want any of that stuff near any of my stuff, but sometimes there are accidents. This is why I put myself through a bunch of unnecessary pain to find you the best remedy. Luckily, it’s simple and cheap!
All you need is olive oil! If you apply olive oil to the affected areas and wipe it off, the burning will subside. You may need to do it again to make sure you got all of the offending substance off your skin. I found this method to be 100% effective with Carmex, IcyHot, and Bengay. This will even work if you take the bad advice to use an Altoid during oral play. I did not try canola or any other oil but I would assume they would help too. I will not be testing those; I got a chemical burn on my dick… I think I have suffered enough.
You can use olive oil liberally because it’s great for the skin, can be used as a massage oil, and even tastes pretty good if you get in your mouth. Keep in mind that olive oil should not be used on latex, polyurethane, silicone or rubber toys and condoms. That is unless you like condoms that become brittle and break or toys that become porous and harder to clean if not outright destroyed.
Another good way to stop the burning is to keep that stuff away from your genitals, or any other sensitive areas. If you used any of these type of products even as far as 6hrs before sex, just apply a bit of olive oil to protect your partner from unnecessary pain.
